Effective Date: July 2, 2018
Position may include assisting researchers with quantitative, qualitative or mixed-methods research projects; conducting academic literature reviews; writing sections of research papers; performing data analyses; attending research meetings, and presenting at seminars or conferences.
Accepting this position should be viewed as a commitment to the assigned project for the duration of its operation, or until the end of the student’s work study funds, or until the end of the academic year (whichever comes first).
Prior research experience; successful completion of substantial research-related coursework; or enrollment in the MSiMR program is required. Exceptions will be considered by project supervisor on a case-by-case basis.
If you intend to help on a clinical trial you need to have completed or enroll in RES 521: Integrative Research Fundamentals II.
Students must meet with potential project supervisors to determine suitability for the placement prior to formal work-study assignment.
