Counseling Services

NUNM offers free in–house counseling to students. Services include individual therapy and community referrals to support students in their academic success and overall wellness. NUNM is staffed by one full time counselor, one part time counselor, counseling interns and NUNM peer counselors.

Faculty and administration work in conjunction with students to foster an atmosphere conducive to academic success and personal growth. Periodically, students may desire assistance with the responsibilities of college, work, relationships and other possible stresses. NUNM provides professional counseling services free of cost to enrolled students. If students desire to seek professional counseling outside of NUNM, the director of counseling services can assist in facilitating a referral. Please the Office of Student Life for more information.

If this is an emergency please call 911 or contact the Multnomah County Crisis Line at 503.988.4888

For more resources NUNM provides an Interpersonal Violence Information and Resource pamphlet (located in the Office of Student Life).
