The Office of Student Life is seeking creative and detail-oriented students to join our team as Events Assistants. In this role, you will help bring major NUNM events to life — including Graduation, Orientation, Welcome Week, and End-of-Year Celebrations — in collaboration with and under the guidance of the Dean of Students and Student Life staff.

You’ll be part of a supportive planning team where responsibilities are shared, and you’ll gain valuable event coordination experience while contributing to memorable moments for the NUNM community.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with event planning timelines, task lists, and budgets.
  • Support logistics such as room reservations, vendor communication, décor, catering, and set-up/clean-up.
  • Help promote events through flyers, social media, and campus outreach.
  • Assist with volunteer coordination and day-of-event support.
  • Track event attendance and gather feedback for future planning.
  • Provide light office assistance to the Student Life team as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled NUNM student with federal work study eligibility.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Creative thinker who enjoys teamwork and collaboration.
  • Comfortable engaging with students, faculty, staff, and vendors.
  • Reliable, professional, and able to meet deadlines.

Hours: Average 2–4 hours per week, with increased hours during event weeks. Hours will be scheduled in advance, with flexibility for academic commitments. Some evening or weekend availability may be required.
